At the June ICSSD meeting two items of discussion came up that I felt needed a prompt response, even though they will be in the newsletter when it’s published.

1.) Scubapro has issued a recall notice on its model X650 regulator.

2.) One of the attendees asked about whether dive manufacturer Dacor is still in business. The answer is they ARE still in business, but were bought by the Netherlands-based Head International in 1999. Head also owns Mares. However they are having difficulties getting replacement parts for Dacor products prior to 2000, since Dacor’s original vendors quit supplying them. Head is offering an upgrade to certain new Dacor/Mares models until September 30^th. THE ILLINOIS COUNCIL OF SKIN AND SCUBA DIVERS (ICSSD)

Illinois Council of Skin and Scuba Diving T-shirts. The shirts are light gray

Diveheart is now involved with DMV (Diveheart Military Wounded) Diveheart
